The Mid-Island Radio Association is a group of about 35 men and women who enjoy communicating via the radio air waves. Combining technical skills, community service and social networking opportunities we have a lot of fun undertaking stimulating and challenging activities. We are all volunteers.

Our Mission

a. Promoting amateur radio communication, education, experimentation, and the hobby of amateur radio generally;
b. Being prepared to provide emergency communication in the event of disaster;
